It's cotton and not see through which I always look for in dresses. I'm 5' and 135 lbs and opted for the XXS because I wanted the dress to be more fitted especially in the hips. I'm a 32DD and the top fits great. Straps are wide enough for a bra. I'm taking it to Rome and a Mediterranean cruise.

The poplin material makes this dress feel lightweight, but subtantial, and very breathable. Thickness of the straps still allows for wearing a bra & the smocked waist is so flattering. I'm so excited to wear this piece all summer, highly recommend!
