It is predominately 80% cotton/cotton prima. I am 5ft 2in, curvy, the "Medium" size fits beautifully, not too tight and not loose either. the length is "just above the knee" and perfect for my style. It is a somewhat heavy dress; I wouldn't wear it in hot/humid temperatures; I can wear it either with a thin belt or no belt, dress it up a bit with heels or casual with sneakers/sandals.

I purchased a size large as other size L dresses from Tommy Bahama fit well. This dress was little big and as it was not fitted, it just hung. I am 5' tall and the dress was well below my knees.
