Love umbrella
Best umbrella! I love the thick beams for the Carolina winds. I wish Tommy Bahama would go back to not having the anchorX though as it takes up too much space.

Much improved
We recently used the umbrella in Maui. The winds were fierce, with gusts up to 40 mph. The umbrella did prolapse but was quite easy to bring that back into shape. Never once did the anchoring come up or become loose in the sand. This is one of the better umbrellas TB has put out in a long time.

Poor anchor
The Anchorx prevents the pole from going in the sand as deeply as the older model, so it blew over and hit someone. Meanwhile, an older version stayed in the sand. I'll shop for a different brand now.
