Finding this type of terry cloth fabric in men's wear is impossible. The medium fits him perfectly mid-thigh. He's 5'9" and 175lbs. The side pockets are deep enough for your phone. The back pocket is a nice touch. The shorts are extremely well-made, and I expect they'll hold up for many summers to come. He says they are his new favorite.
