I have never had a bathing suit become discolored from going to the beach. It was not from sunscreen. The top runs slightly big if you are petite.

Precious years versions of the tankinis (even before they started making the reversible style tankinis) were so much more comfortable and flattering and true to size. This runs small. I have halter tankinis and bottoms that are 5 yrs old and still beautiful bc I took care of them. I wanted to refresh but new fit and fabrication is a fail. Most the of Tommy bahama tankini prints these days are boring and dated looking. And the reversible tankinis are too thick and heavily padded in the bust I've bought several other brands (sold at Nordstrom) that are much better in fit, fabric and patterns/colors.
