It is a fabulous piece, with loads of ventilation, a beautiful fine weave and smoothness like silk. Durable and SO classy. This one was a comparative bargain. I used a $50 reward card for the purchase (Tommy B, make that process simpler! It SUCKS) and made this hat a deal I could consider. This hat has no ventilation holes so I will not be wearing it on very hot days, but I did wear it yesterday in mild sun at our local hot-rod show. It’s a class act. Sleek and simple, with a beautiful grosgrain ribbon hatband (I added a nice owl feather)and a high quality sweatband. XL fits my 7 3/4” head perfectly. It is feather light, and would survive a crush just fine. Genuine palm fiber, a slightly less fine weave compared to my $450 work of art, but I like the white color and sleekness even better than the pricy one. It’s a keeper!
