The old version (77% cotton 20% tencel 3% spandex) were softer, lighter, and far more comfortable than the new version (67% cotton 30% tencel 3% spandex). The newer cut is also terrible if you have an athletic build. I know TB had issues with the color consistency of the old version, but these changes are just a complete failure. My only hope is that maybe after a couple washes they soften up. But out of the box it was definitely not what I was looking for.

My only issue is that they are a bit long (I ordered a 30 inseam but I swear they are a 32) so I might have to get them hemmed. Otherwise I am very happy with them.
