Owner of many of the Boracay cargo shorts.
While these new cut and material are certainly nice shorts, I find they are cut smaller in size and the material is not as breathable as the old style.
I personally liked the old 10" length.

New softer Boracay shorts
I love the feel of the new Boracay shorts and as a long time customer always love giving them 5 stars but if I could make one suggestion the pockets are smaller on the new style and I would urge TB to go back to the original size.

VERY frustrated by Boracay Cargo 2026 changes!!!
TOMMY BAHAMA WEBSITE SHOULD EDIT ITEM DESCRIPTION TO CLEARLY INDICATE "2026 REDESIGN" or create new style name.
Prior Boracay Chino Cargo shorts design was AWESOME (as deservedly praised by most all other reviewers!). This year's reedesign has too many changes - fabric material blend, waistband, leg length (from 10" to 9") and cargo pocket width (over 1" wider). Such a shame to "ruin a good thing."
I had recently purchased four new pairs for my husband in the same size as all of his prior design - 32", thinking the only difference would be the length, and had to return. NOT fair for long-time consumers to purchase a favorite item only to receive something completely different. TB should change the style name or edit item description to learly indicate "2026 Redesign."
I am considering ordering two pairs of 33", ONLY because of current sale (Buy One Get One 50%), but it's a significantly different item and likely just to be a placeholder until finding a new favorite go-to for future seasons.
