From breezy botanicals and flowing florals to bold colors and vibrant designs, this mutual appreciation for island-inspired artistry has brought us together for the past six years.
“There is meaning in every design (we create), as every print tells a story—inspired by travel, personal memories, and places we love,” explains Evelyn Widdle, ALOHA Collection’s Senior Sales Director. “Whether you’re heading to the beach or pool, traveling, or simply navigating daily life, we’ve got a bag for that.”
This philosophy, of course, resonates with Tommy Bahama. Standout prints have long been part of our DNA, and pairing Tommy Bahama’s heritage artistry with ALOHA Collection's travel-ready silhouettes was a natural evolution of our partnership.
A Shared Canvas
In addition to carrying select pieces from ALOHA’s line, each season, our designers work with their team to create bags designed with exclusive Tommy Bahama prints. These typically match back to a pattern from our swim collection, making coordinating a beach-ready ensemble just a little more effortless.

However, these styles are produced in limited quantities, becoming collectibles in their own right. As Julie Yoon, Women's Accessories Merchandiser at Tommy Bahama, puts it, “once they’re gone, they’re gone!”
“We work closely with our design partners year-round, coming together before each season to carefully select the exclusive prints in our swim collections,” she explains. “This collaborative process helps create a cohesive assortment you'll only find at Tommy Bahama. And yes—you can expect to see even more exclusive prints throughout the year.”

Behind the Splash
ALOHA Collection got its start in 2014, when flight attendant Rachael Leina’ala Soares and Kaua’i native Heather Aiu set out to solve a simple, all-too-relatable travel dilemma: How do you keep your wet swimsuit separate from everything else in your bag?
What started as one thoughtfully designed Splash-Proof® bag—and, in their words, "a bit of magic and a lot of luck" through a successful Kickstarter campaign—has since grown into a globally recognized brand.
