Love these chairs, but how get rid of mold?
I love Tommy Bahama beach chairs. I have 5 of them purchased over the last few years. Unfortunately the one that's my favorite pattern, a bright summery tropical orange, developed mold on the fabric and I don't know how to clean it or if it's even possible to get rid of the mold. It's the only one that developed mold; the others are fine.
These chairs are great and even my youngest child in elementary school can carry it as a backpack. Makes my job getting onto the beach much easier!

Looks very nice. Uncomfortable for several reasons
When you open the package you'll think it looks great! In many areas it seems to be a great beach char. Unfortunately I'm pretty unhappy with this chair. In several sections the threads are loose and untrimmed, making it look poorly made. The carry handle cut into the wood arm rest is right where your elbow is supposed to sit. ends up being very uncomfortable - constantly adjusting where my arm is sitting. The seat of the chair is made with a bent U tubing. The front of this tubing cuts into my legs (and other people who have sat in this chair). Competitor chairs don't have this bar in the front, making other brands more comfortable. There is another very small bar that runs the width of the chair, this one is at the pivot between the back and seat. It does not bend at all. It sticks up through the chair when the chair is fully reclined, and cuts right into your lower back. I would say that this chair is unusable fully reclined in the layback position because of this issue. The cooler is nice and the pockets are better than other chairs.
So in conclusion - This chair has potential to be great. It is very pretty. However due to several comfort issues i very much regret my purchase and wish I could return them
