Too flexible and weak
It's our third umbrella from Tommy Bahama in 12 years, the other two were incredible, very sturdy and stable, this model was used for two days, it culdn't resist the last week wind in Miami, turned upside down two times, and vibrates so much that one small piece that connected the turning point on the middle broke and we could've close the umbrella. We left it at the same beach near the garbage can.
It's too big and flexible, please keep the same shape that you had before , the only interesting thing it's the increased base option .

Looks good!
We just opened our umbrella today. It looks great, only we wish the carry strap was wider and maybe padded for the shoulder!

Loved it until it broke
I loved this umbrella and used it in pretty heavy winds and it stood up great. Unfortunately I only got to use it for one summer as it broke at the end of the summer.

Will It Last?
This is a question not a review. I have two other Tommy B umbrellas which appear to be aluminum. This description on this item says that it is made of steel. Is there a possabilty of rust setting in; especially near salt water?

Buy it, use it, love it!
The new pattern is beautiful. We bought one because a friend had one - they are much sturdier than cheaper models. They are also easy to set up and light weight.
