Quick Pop UpMy husband has been thinking about getting a sun shade for the beach for quite some time. We have both always been pleased with the merchandise we have purchased from Tommy Bahama. When I saw this I thought it would be perfect. It opens very easily, is lightweight and the zippered window is a nice feature. I would give the shade 5 stars if not for the slightly difficult and awkward close. We both watched the video several times and finally caught on to how to collapse the shade without it hitting us in the face before we had the close perfected. Overall, however, we love it. It comes with stakes and tie-down cords and a nice case to keep everything neatly together.
Oh, and our dog immediately laid claim to it. He is ready for the beach!

Decent sun shadeI was hopeful that this would be a great product. I found it to be just good. The main complaint would be not enough airflow to keep it cool inside, and tricky to close back up. I watched several people struggle with it. One guy said he forced it, and it was never the same again. So watch the video, commit the little third step to memory. Once you get it, it's easy. But done wrong, a tota failure and can be easily ruined.

For our fun in the SUN!Looking forward to our next sunny day on the lake. This is a perfect way to protect our grandchildren and puppy from too much sun.
We had to google directions (you-tube) of how to fold it up, but have mastered it now. A very good product.

Great for a day at the beachI returned the first one due to defect. The replacement works out perfectly. The beach shelter is a bit bigger than I can handle. (I am 5'3 tall.) I practiced a few times at home on opening and closing the shelter before I brought it to the beach.

So good I bought twomost convenient beach shelter. Stakes keep it in the ground well but often does not need them with a little weight in it. It opens in about two seconds and folds down in about 15 seconds after you know how to do it (there are many quickly accessible videos on how to do so).
