I bought a pair of these after they were recommended by a colleague. I love the frames, which are heavy and seem sturdy, but one of the lenses shattered after only a month of use. I'm generally very careful with my sunglasses, and don't know what caused the lens to shatter (likely something banging into them on the boat while I was in the water), but it's never happened to another pair of sunglasses I've bought in this price range. It was very disappointing that after only a month of use, they were out of commission.

I of course would not go without my sunglasses...first time I fell in they were gone! I looked for days and immediately bought another pair exactly the same! When I reported my missing Maui Jims to the lifeguards, they stated I was very specific, black top rims with tortoise shell under rims and bronze lenses!! I love these sunglasses!!

So comfortable, the color is amazing and it will be nice to be able to read with my sunglasses on.
