I bought these because they are my favorite shorts and you are not going to make them anymore. I will be seaching the net and hitting the outlet trying to stay in key grip shorts as long as I can.

Conflicted...love/hate
My husband LOVES these shorts and they look terrific. I have bought him 5 pairs at least and I have repaired all five at least three times...at the bottom of zipper and side seam at pocket. I am conflicted because the fabric is one of the great things...feels good, drapes perfectly but it is very weak at stitched stress points. I continue to but them and repair them but how I wish there was a fix. Maybe I can use fabric glue to hopefully strengthen them when they first arrive and avoid the unraveling.

Best Shorts Ever - Business or Play
Whether used for business or for relaxing, these Key Grip shorts are the best shorts ever produces by Tommy Bahama. I use them in them in the yachting industry and have gotten compliments for style many times.

The Most Comfortable Shorts
These are the most comfortable shorts I’ve ever owned. Extremely soft and look great! Be aware that because they are so soft they won’t last beyond 1-2 years of regular use. I’ve had a number of pairs that start to come apart at the seams but while they’re in good repair they are my favorite!

they wash and wear so nicely and look brand new.
I own this short in several different colors. I love the way they fit. they always look good. I wear them to hang around the house or go to the beach or even to go out to a nice restaurant for dinner and they are always appropriate. continually receive compliments on the way they look.

Stylish *and* functional
Let's face it--cargo shorts are functional but don't have the best reputation style-wise. Well, problem solved. These Key Grip cargo shorts have all the pockets you need for cell phones and such, yet are so stylish you can wear them to the club and fit right in. My only challenge with them is deciding which color to wear.

My fiancé loves these shorts because they always wear and travel well.
My fiancé has worn these shorts for quite a few years and wears no other shorts. He likes the cargo style for his wallet instead of the back pocket and no matter where we go, they look great! Dressed or casual.

Seam issue
So I'm a very good customer and have about 10 pairs of these shorts. However as noted by several others there are seam issues on these shorts. On 5 pairs of these shorts I have seam issues in the front crotch area. I have had to get them repaired by tailor but it's very visible. I love these shorts and hope that this seam issue can be corrected in the future. Would be great if I can do an exchange or something.

Incognito Cargo
I first fell in love with these in the spring of '16. The flat-front, subtle texture, softness, length, and discreet quick access no-button cargo pocket make them a perfect dress-up, dress-down & all-around fantastic short.
I really like the extra room the pockets allow while staying streamlined in profile with an exceptionally comfortable and soft hand - not too rigid and yet not slouchy.
I live in the Phoenix area and wear shorts most of the year. I now have these in 6 colors and very seldom wear another casual or dress-casual style.
I recently resolved an issue, from an older version of this short, where the lighter colors quickly became tattered due to the fading/distressing process. This issue has since been resolved and Tommy Bahama replaced the defective shorts free of charge and with OUTSTANDING customer service.
I really enjoy these shorts and I love this company! My only wish is to be provided a size 31 option as I'm in between sizes and have to wear a 32 with just a little too much room. These are totally awesome despite this minor (so minor) issue.

Love the shorts. They have the utility of Cargo shorts without the balky front and back flaps.
I wish you would add a true tan /sisal color as well as Stone. I have them in those colors but have worn them out ! I have the Shoreline color but they don't match well with several of my TB shirts . Please return those colors !

The Key Grip 9.5 inch Cargo Shorts are an excellent choice for fit, feel and fashion. These are by far the best shorts I have bought in a long time. Easily pairs with any button up Tommy Bahama print shirt to create a classy but still comfortable ensemble.

Recent Issues
I have been wearing these shorts for more than 5 years now. They are consistent in fit and very comfortable. Unfortunately I have had quality issues with a few pairs ordered over the last six months where the material is thin and separating especially near seams. In each case customer service has been excellent and been able to exchange them for another pair. Please note, due to proximity of stores, I usually purchase online and can't see the shorts prior to be shipped to my house. I am hopeful these quality control issues will be worked out but I will continue to purchase these as long as customer service holds up.

Not built to last :(
Have been a TB customer for over a decade and have never had a problem with anything I have purcahsed.....until now. I have 3 pair of these shorts and have worn them a few times a piece and all three have seams coming apart, fabric fraying, etc. It's a shame as they are so comfortable! I won't be buying TB shorts like these again. What a waste to buy shorts for almost $100 and have them start falling apart after just a handful of times wearing them.
