Disappointed over time
First and foremost, I love these shorts. I live in the northeast, and even in winter if I’m indoors I live in shorts. These are so comfortable, I don’t need another short ever. But…I have 8 of these, all purchased in the last year or so. To date, three pairs have had buttons pop off and I’ve had to re-sew, which is fine, since they can still be worn. Today, though, i zipped up a pair and the metal piece that holds the zipper pull on just broke off, so now I have a worthless pair of shorts. Completely okay for a department store budget pair of shorts, but at $100 bucks a pop this just shouldn’t be. These are awesome in terms of comfort, style, and, for a middle-aged guy, an appropriate mature option over typical cargo shorts, but as a premium product they just need to hold up.

Best Cargo Shorts
These cargo shorts have best combination of design, quality and utility. I have found that pants with side pockets for phone & wallet are much more comfortable than sitting on those items when in the rear pockets. Most shorts with side pockets are designed for hiking or outdoor activities and consequently look like you’re ready for the trail due to their cut and materials. These cargos from Tommy Bahama have the same utility but the fabric is very soft to the touch and are well made. I just wish Tommy Bahama offered these in a long pant version.

Poor quality
Comfortable, but button fell off. Same happened on two other pair I bought. Also material wears thin very quickly in crotch area. One pair actually wore through. These are expensive shorts and I would expect better quality from TB.

Great shorts for every man's taste.
It's the fabric that makes these shorts so very comfortable. My husband wears these daily during the summer months because he loves the "lived in" feeling of the shorts. The colors that are offered fit every discriminating taste, and these shorts wash and wear beautifully. Looking forward to more Boracay cargo shorts in my husband's future.

Good shorts, inconvenient design
They fit well and look good and I like wearing them. Two drawbacks: 1. The design of the fly makes it impossible to use by itself and 2. After a year or two they lose their elasticity so the trim fit turns into a more baggy fit.

Awesome Shorts with a Sleek Cargo Pocket
Love these shorts. They are modern length, closer to the leg cut, while still maintaining a streamlined pocket that fits my cell phone. All this in addition to a great material and feeling when wearing them.

It is a great short that requires too much care to keep them wearable. A hot , even medium hot dryer can ruin the short quickly.

Premium Fabric and Perfect Comfortable Fit
The best things about these shorts are the details. There are extra belt loops so that your belt doesnt bunch up material in the back, the fit is superb but what sets these shorts apart is the fabric. This is a premium fabric that stands up well after many washings and has a bit of stretch to it so it doesn't cramp your style. I have four pair of these shorts and won't wear anything else when it comes to shorts.
