Nice Looking Shirt
Let me start by saying this is the first 100% silk shirt I have owned, so I am not sure what to expect. And what I am about to write is NOT the fault of the shirts materials and workmanship. I wore it one time and it looked great, it was a little rough, almost like crepe paper, I assumed that it had to break-in before it became soft, like silk is supposed to feel. Knowing that my wife is not the best at following directions for washing clothes, I asked her not to touch this shirt and I would wash it later with some of my other clothes that I want to keep nice. Well, she claimed that she didn't hear me and washed it on a regular cycle in warm water and supposedly didn't put it in the dryer. Now the shirt is VERY rough, wrinkly and appears to have shrunk considerably. It's not the shirts fault and I feel bad for having to write this review. I guess I am just frustrated because this is the most expensive shirt I have ever purchased and was planning on wearing it for years. Oh well...

You will LOVE this shirt, or your spouse will when you wear it!
I bought one of these for my husband, and as soon as he tried it on I went to the computer to buy a second one. The silk material is exquisite, the pattern is subtle and the fit is perfect. I've also found it a pleasure to speak with customer service personnel, and I have sincerely found every one of them to be informed and delightful. As my husband is 6'6" there simply is no better place to find well made stylish clothes for BigTall Men!

This shirt fit perfectly but I caution anyone ordering any new tall shirts. I order 2 others on line and I’m told your shirt sizing has changed. Both shirts had to be returned because they did not fit

Absolutely one of the best Tommy Bahama shirts you'll ever wear.
Having been a TB customer for over a decade this shirt is probably one of the best I've purchased. I'm a 2XL and the shirt fits great around the shoulders and chest area. It's a generous cut without being baggy. The material is soft and the color is rich. Definitely one of the best TB shirts I've owned.

Beautiful fabric but too tight for comfort
To me Tommy Bahama means casual elegance and relaxed fit. Unfortunately someone designed the sleeve holes so narrow I couldn't put my arms in the usual 2XLT I buy. I traded up for a 3XLT and found my arms could barely fit. Bringing my arms up to type on the keyboard had the sleeves cutting into the area below my biceps. People at work loved the look of the shirt. I love the look of the shirt. I just have to remember to keep my arms down. No clapping. No typing. No drinking. No walking.
It is elegant...sort of a blend of an Aloha Shirt and a Filipino Barong Barangay dress shirt.
If you want comfort, go up a size or two. If you want to make your biceps pop, this is the shirt for you.

I have purchased shirts from you sized 2xb. You don’t appear to have that size anymore. Your current size is 2xl/2tg. This shirt is a little smaller in the girth and longer.

6' 5" 250 lbs order the XLT not XXLT
Great shirt, a little stiff due to fabric coating but should soften up soon. I ordered the XXLT and it is big on me but still acceptable. I will order XLT from now on for a more trim fit

Beautiful shirt great quality
The shirt was good quality and the fit was perfect. I ordered the wrong size first and no problems at all returning for the right size. My husband wore this shirt to walk our daughter down the isle at her beach wedding and it looked great with the beach scenery. My daughter was very pleased with how great her father was dressed for her big day! She said it looked tailor made for him.

I purchased this for my husband for Father's Day as Tommy Bahama was the only clothing he requested! He wears Talls and you are a company that always honors the fact that a tall man really does need the extra length. The quality is always excellent. The gray color is one that he can dress up or wear with jeans and still look nice! And the fact that it gives us a little "touch of the islands" here in Colorado just adds to the reason we are a Tommy Bahama family!

Prepare to be Noticed !
This is the most unique shirt I have ever owned. No one expects this type shirt to be gray but it totally rocks. I have worn with jeans and with some gray pants to dress it up a little. Always get comments and I just love it myself.

For Tall Men
The first thing I noticed was the thick silk fabric. This is not a light weight silk like you find on most Tommy Bahama silk shirts. The silk has a very firm yet soft feel. Perfect for outside functions during the Spring and Fall yet breaths and does not get hot on warmer days. Also noticed that the size 3XB fits a little longer than the 3XT. So if you are over 6' tall, you may want to try this shirt in a 3XB.
