Rated 3 out of 5 by Ivory from Nice polo, but a bit too loose through the middle Writing this review to give some perspective on the sizing for anyone reading who is close to my build. As a reference, I am a man in my 40s, 6'3" and around 200lbs; I wear a 35" pant and a jacket running 44-46 depending on brand and cut. I was pretty happy to find TB with a tall section on the website. The LT outwear fits me pretty well based on the zip sweater I bought, but of course that will be meant to hang a little looser and still look good. The jeans also fit me well, in 35x34. I bought a size LT polo of this style, along with an Island zone t-shirt, also in LT, hoping for a decent fit. On arrival, both looked nice and seemed to be decently put together for the price, but be advised that they run very generously through the body.. the description for the tall size guide reads that LT will fit a waist from 37-39 and they are not lying! For my 35” waist, LT feels like a carnival tent in this polo, but through the shoulders the fit is perfect. The shirt also hangs very low (like approaching the bottom of my fly, if un-tucked), likely due in part to the extra material hanging down (not being pushed out by a thicker mid-section) and exaggerating the tall sizing. I really wish that TB would stick with the body / waist sizing of their regular line and just add more length in their tall line, instead of more length and more width, for the same sizes Large and X-Large (Large runs 42-44 chest and 35-37 waist in the regular line and 42-45 chest and 37-39 waist in the Tall shop, for the 'same' size Large). I’m sure they are catering to the widest demographic based on their research (no pun). Based on how much room I have in the LT size, I think I would fit better into a 'regular' large size.. provided of course it is a short-sleeve style. Hopefully it will be long enough and not too tight through the shoulders.. or I will be out of luck. First world probs for sure. Perhaps Mick was right when he said.. "You can't always get what you want" Cheers!
