lid replacement
Beautiful cooler but like many others the lid warped and fell apart despite being covered at all times. Have you worked on selling a lid replacement? Seems like such a terrible thing to put the cooler in a landfill.

Lid Problems
I bought this cooler a few years ago. The lid warped and rotted from moisture, despite me keeping it completely covered. I could not get a replacement cover, despite repeated calls to find a replacement.

Could be a great cooler but lid rots/warps quickly
Like many others, this cooler has been great until the lid warps from water or humidity and will no longer close without breaking. This was a gift and I'd love to know how to get a replacement lid so I could extend the life of this cooler. Is that possible.

This is a very stylish cooler.
I've had this cooler for approximately three years and it's still looking like new. I keep it covered year round when not in use. I did make some improvements with insulation.

Beautiful cooler only for the first 6 months
It's honestly not at all a bad cooler, just an absolutly terrible lid design just held together with friction and a few dowels. The issue is the wood after a couple months wants to seperate and there's no way to get it back together and it no longer will close Mine lasted about 8 months before starting to seperate and that was with indoor storing it I couldn't imagine leaving it outdoors. Customer service directs you to the distributor shelter logic; who doesn't have replacement parts, and they don't sell replacement lids online either. On a item costing 600$ this was the biggest disappointment, between the quality of the item and the lack of help from either end of the distribution in not having a repayment lid, best you'll get is a 100$ discount on ordering a new one. Wouldn't recomend

Great for large at-home parties and get-togethers
I've had my cooler for several years and have never had a single issue with it. None of the warped lid comments others have left. Purchased at either Sam's Club or Costco. I have kept my cooler outside for 5 or 6 years, covered with the included cover and under a roof, but outdoors nontheless. My only issue is that Tommy Bahama does not offer accessories/parts for this cooler. I would love to have one more divider so that I can have 3 separate compartments instead of just 2 compartments. Also, the cover has faded and the seams have finally started to fray/tear. Would love to be able to buy a replacement cover but no parts are listed.

Great cooler but lid gets warped
I love this cooler and get lots of compliments. I've had it for 3 years now. I kept it covered and stored it in my garage during the winter. The lid is now so warped that it's impossible to get it to fully close. I would give this product 5 stars if it wasn't for the lid. I hope I can find a replacement or I will need to get my wood working tools out and build my own.

Great unit aside from the top.
Our wooden top completely rotted out. The rest of the unit is built extremely well. Hopefully they stand behind their product and help us out.

Poor product and worse customer service.
So disappointed by this product. Lid warped after first season. Sounds like most others that bought this product have the same problem. I see TB customer service saying "we stand behind our products" but don't see them doing anything to remedy the situation. How about replacing my defective cololer? That's how companies typically stand behind their products.

I got to thinking more about why my top lasted longer and I remembered that not long after purchace (maybe one summer or so) I noticed some problems with the finish on the lid.
So, I lightly hand sanded to give a new finish a grip. Then I brushed on a new outdoor finish which was probably superior to the original finish thereby giving me a few more years without rot (only a few warped pieces I sanded down as mentioned below).
I hoped this might help of those of you who can still maybe save your old top.
From reading all the reviews below again, it seems that TB is still avoiding any steps
to help their customers. If they are, then those customers are not coming back to the comments to let the rest of us know.
I still need a new cover but there has been no response from 2 weeks ago.

Good until the lid rots out
Joining in with everyone else. Absolutely loved this cooler and even recommended it to others. But the lid is now rotten and has split in half. Very disappointed in the lack of durability - the cooler needs a redesign since its obviously a common issue that the company is aware of. Its not a cheap cooler and should last for more than one season!

Lid needs to be redesigned.
Similiar to other reviews, the wood on the lid ended up rotting and breaking off even though the unit was protected from the elements. Customer service, please reach out with direction on how to acquire a lid replacement.

Through parties, rain, and snow.
This is the second Tommy Bahama rolling cooler I've purchased. The first has survived many, many years of BBQ's, neighborhood parties, and family functions all the while withstanding years of Seattle weather - hot, cold, or raining - sitting on the deck without its cover. It still works but we needed another for the front deck.

Could not have found a better looking cooler

It looks good but the lid is trash
This didn't even last one season covered with the cover it comes with the moisture from inside the cooler totally deteriorated the cooler the cover is not waterproof for is expensive as this thing is it should last and there is nowhere that we can find a replacement lid for as many reviews that are on here needing one you would think you would guys would manufacture one that's better quality even if we have to purchase it
