Awesome but not scratch resistant
I’ve been a Maui Jim’s client for years and have always been a fan. Only complaint I would have about them is that their lenses scare very easily! Otherwise they are the best sunglasses out there!

Great glasses

I always love my Mauis. The optics are amazing, and they stand up to adventure well. They kick the crap out of Oakleys that are supposed to be comparable. Plus they look cool.

Love your brand and love my new Maui Jim’s. Comfortable fit, arms are a little short. Thought they would have been a little longer since I purchased Xl. But everything else is what I expected. Have recommended to family and friends and they love them as well.

Poor value for perfermonace
I splurged to buy these and was swindled by the hype. I've had Costa, Serengeti, Smith, and I feel that these were the biggest disappointment for the price. The grey lenses on the Alenuihaha frames are just terrible. Looking through them, they always appear cloudy and the actual clarity is poor. I've spent too much time cleaning the lenses and they never appear clear. Not a scratch on these as well as I take the utmost care with my specs. Likewise, the frames feel very cheap. I really think Maui Jim's name is not synonymous with quality as it may have been years ago. Never should have pulled the trigger on these. Back to Serengetis.

Very happy
This is my second pair of Alenuihaha, as my first is black for golf. These are blue for boating. I have a large head so I need large frames and these fit the bill

I'll admit that the lenses were a bit more mirrored than I expected. That was the only surprise. I love the shade of blue on the frame and the lenses. This was the first pair I've seen with stripes on the frames and I couldn't resist. They look great on me and go very well with my blue eyes. It was a great decision.

Great Buy
Great light glasses, love the coverage and wrap around feel. Put prescription rose/lava color, with glare coat top and bottom of lenses.
My last pair of Maui Jim's was set up the same way.
I think these will be great glasses with the same high quality Maui lenses construction. Much lighter frame than my last metal framed Maui's. I do wish they were not straight armed. I prefer arms that wrap around the back of my ear. It's to bad they don't have options on the arm configuration.

Alenuihaha was a pleasant surprise when I realized how much they do wrap!
Make sure your cheeks are too big as when you smile they climb jo your face.

NICE SUNGLASSES
I really like these sunglasses. They're very light weight and fit well (medium-sized face). I like the blue lenses which afford good clarity. I also think they're attractive. Most importantly, my wife likes them on me, even though she didn't pick them out - as she does most of my sunglasses.
