The 22nd Pacific Coast Classic Golf Tournament
Breaking all past years’ records, a sold-out slate of 164 enthusiastic golfers teed off at the Pacific Coast Classic Golf Tournament in California in June 2022, raising over $250,000 from the event.
“The Tommy Bahama Golf Tournament is the best Charity Tournament in Orange County, and what our sponsors, underwriters, and golfers receive is absolutely unrivaled,” said Kerri Dunkelberger, Olive Crest’s Orange County Executive Director.
This year’s fundraising success was especially vital due to the far-reaching effects the pandemic had on the children and families served at Olive Crest.

Benefiting Children’s Advocacy Center & The Garden of Hope and Courage

The Coconut Classic was Tommy Bahama’s first ever charity golf tournament and has been a community staple in Naples for over 25 years, raising over a million dollars in the process. The tournament benefits two charities each year. The Garden of Hope and Courage is a 2.5-acre healing garden available to patients, their families, hospital staff and the greater Naples community at the Downtown Naples Hospital Campus. The other benefiting charity, Children's Advocacy Center, provides a friendly atmosphere designed to minimize a child’s trauma during investigations of abuse and throughout the healing process that follows.

Benefiting Big Brothers Big Sister of the Sun Coast

For over 25 years, Tommy Bahama has hosted the annual Bungalow Classic in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast—an organization that provides one-to-one mentoring relationships to children ages 6-18 years old throughout the Gulf Coast of Florida. In 2021, we raised $100,000 over two days of island-inspired activities, starting with dinner at our Sarasota Restaurant & Bar, followed by a day on the green at the Longboat Key Golf & Country Club.

The Sunset Classic in Scottsdale was started over 10 years ago to raise vital funds for Children’s Cancer Network, which supports Arizona families battling childhood cancer through family centered programs and services. Funds raised from the two-day event, which includes a tournament, celebration dinner, and auction, go towards gas and food cards, Adopt-A-Family programs, wigs, beds, scholarships, support programs, and more.
