Quick turnaround on replacement
Bought a chair that has a damaged canopy and customer service was great getting a replacement! And the refund on my card happened timely and without me having to call to get it applied.

Doesn't fit the old Costco TB chairs
We were excited when we saw this shade at the store, bought one for each of our 2 chairs we had bought at Costco years ago. Unfortunately, the clips don't fit the frame of the chair. Our chairs do not have a round frame at the top, the aluminum frame is a little oblong and the clip for the shade is for a perfectly round frame. I wish I could return the old chairs, maybe we would buy new ones. It is a great concept. We will just have to lug our TB umbrella to the beach. We will return these today.

Best attachable shade

Does not attach properly to Tommy Bahama chairs!?
Looks great, provides great shade, but it simply does not adequately stay attached to the chair. I bought this to fit last years tommy bahama chairs and it barely holds on .
Tip: how about designing these with an actual screwed on attachment and not just some three-quarter plastic clip?? Crazy idea right ? Look at the.

Portable and Versatile
Love it. Plan on using on an existing beach chair. If you check the width of a chair you may have already you will find it may work as well l. It will offer just the right amount of shade to our face and head to keep us from needing a hat.

Love it but....
I have had mine for 2 years. I found it only works on the newest version of the beach chairs, my older ones it doesn't work on which should be in the description before you buy. Other than that it's a great addition to my beach trips.

Need another one for my other TB chair
Was hesitant due to the price but I was glad to purchase it and my family members wanted a turn. It does add noticeable weight to the chair. I had difficulty popping one side on and couple times during use it popped off. If canopy could be wider it would help block sun from Dave longer. Overall pleased.

Tommy Bahama products are always the best quality. We’ve had these chairs for at least 15 years, and for Father’s Day I decided to upgrade to a new pair. We will give the old ones to the kids. Two seriously bad design faults
I'm 6'2" and if I sit in the chair normally (no sliding or slouching) the canopy rests on the top of my head and I feel like I'm in a tunnel. If TB wants to be considered the best, the canopy needs to be height-adjustable. Also, there's a serious design flaw that will substantially shorten the lifespan of the CHAIR to which the canopy is attached: the plastic clamps on the canopy attach to metal tubes on the chair which are covered in fabric. It won't take long for those clamps to wear through the fabric as they are attached and removed and ruin the chair.
