Fabulous customer care and happy with purchase
After reading all reviews, I called customer care and learned measurements for size medium and size large. I hope this will help others trying to decide.
Size medium: shoulder width (seam to seam) 16", armpit to armpit (or across the bust) is 21 3/4"
Size large: shoulder width (seam to seam) 16 3/4"; armpit to armpit (across the bust 23 1/2"
I am 5' 5 1/2", approx 150, rectangular body shape. I ordered the medium.

Jacket is nice but runs really big. I’m 5’4” and 125 lbs and swimming in it. Would exchange but apparently this particular item can’t be returned or exchanged for some reason. Not sure if an XS would have been small enough.

Lightweight and versatile
I have both the regular raw-edge linen jacket and the utility jacket and love them both! They are the perfect weight for Florida and go with everything from dresses to jeans. My arms are a little short, so I need to cuff the sleeves on both jackets, but I would have ended up pushing them up anyway.

Not what I expected
I like the look of the jacket but I didn’t like the fit. Sleeves too long and the waistband is too high. It didn’t allow for a women’s breast. Not everyone has small breast.
