Best Ever
This chair is spacious, sturdy and yet so light! Easy to walk down to the beach with it on your back! The cooler and other pocket allows you to walk with free hands as there are a lot of steps at my beaches on Lake Michigan!

Disappointed
After 9 years of beach use, it was time to retire my Tommy Bahama chair. I was very pleased with this chair that I decided to purchase another chair from Tommy Bahama. I ordered the pineapple chair. I was very disappointed with the quality for the price I paid. I was also disappointed because the other Tommy Bahama chair that I used for 9 years seemed to be much better quality! The pineapple chair was not smooth to change to the different levels of reclining. As a matter of fact, the handles would not lift up if I was sitting on it. It was as if they were locked and would not lift up! I had to get out of the chair, place my feet on the bottom bar of the frame and then lift up to adjust! This was such an inconvenience and became really annoying for my 2 week beach use! Also, another disappointment was that it started to rust after a couple of days use! I don’t know if there was a hole or crack, but I would hose it down after use and it seemed to fill with water and then would leave a puddle of water in my trunk! I had to turn it upside down and let it drain before placing in my trunk! I did not have this experience with my first Tommy Bahama chair, so I was really disappointed.

Looks like the photo. I have not used it yet so hard to know how it will perform. Makes noise when you sit the fabric against the metal. Hopefully that will get better as the fabric stretches and such.

Disappointed
The arm of the chair had a large scuff about an inch wide. I had to return it. I have three other Tommy Bahama chairs that are great. They were purchased at discount stores. I was very disappointed that the chair I purchased direct for a lot more money had such a noticeable defect.

The hype is real!
Just like a backpack. It reclines all the way back so you can sleep on the beach! Glad I read the Pro Tip to push the legs of the chair together to close the chair. Super easy. Convenient pockets on the back of the chair. Love the pattern. I’m going to buy another one!

Everything you need for the beach!
At the beach right now with this amazing chair! Super sturdy! I love I can put my sunblock, phone, beach book and sunglasses in the pockets. I didn't even need a beach bag! I love the bright colorful design of the pineapple print. I purchased the matching beach towels to go with it and was so happy I did

Pretty but not Practicle for Us
Not for us. Nice product but a tad too low. Didnt like that back straps hang below the chair towards the sand or ocean and would get gritty to be put on your shoulders. Heavier than expected and kind of bumps you on your back when put on. Beautiful colors but just not for us. We like a talker chair. Love the hood that we also ordered and find it versatile for other chairs we already own.

I can't believe I've not tried these until now!!
Can't believe I've not tried these until now...decided to purchase online and had no problem choosing what I wanted with detailed descriptions such as measurements and weight limits.
We've always rented chairs & umbrellas when vacationing at the beach. (A very expensive service) I literally paid for my new chairs in 2 days use by not renting!! These chairs are not only comfortable, but really versatile with multi-position reclining. You can sit straight up or lie completely horizontal. Very sturdy but light weight and easy to carry with backpack straps. We are late 50's and have no problem maneuvering these to the beach with our necessities in tow. Holds everything you'll need with all the storage pockets-sunscreen, phone, money, drinks, towels...whatever you need! Handy cup holder too!
Comfortable to sit in and love the attached and removable pillow for neck support or lumbar support. Best thing I've spent money on that I know we will use regularly!! Thumbs up!👍
