Rated 5 out of 5 by Kaboski from Excursion chair Best built lawn chair I've ever seen. Heavy duty construction and very comfortable. No painful bar cutting across your lower back. I've never used the shoulder straps but they would be very useful for hiking to the beach. The handle at the top is very useful.My only complaint is not about the chair itself but extra cup holders are not available.

Rated 1 out of 5 by InTheSameBoat from Backpack Straps Broke After Two Walks to the Beach I bought two of these chairs on 9/5/24 in preparation for a beach trip the week of 9/23. Unfortunately, on one of the chairs, the backpack straps completely separated from the back mesh the second time I took them to the beach. Now there is no way to carry the chair on my back. Made for a very difficult trip back to the condo from the beach at Palmetto Dunes. I'm extremely disappointed as I loved everything about these chairs until the strap broke. The straps are still attached on the second chair but who knows for how much longer. I'm a devoted fan of Tommy Bahama and hope they can improve their quality control on this new design. I'd suggest others hold off on purchasing the Excursion Chair until the company has worked out the kinks.

Today poolside, tonight sideline, tomorrow camping, then concert in the park and fits easily in trunk. This is the best portable outdoor chair!!
