Shrunk after one washing
I bought this coverup in the darker blue strip last summer. I wore it twice at the pool at the California Lodge hotel at Disneyland and then put it away until our yearly trip to Hawaii in February. After wearing it in February several times, I decided to wash it. Used cold water and let it hang to dry. The coverup no longer buttons. Since I've had it so long before washing, and it's no longer returnable, I will have to take the cost of this as a loss. I did like it so much that I decided to order another one in a larger size and hope that this larger size will still fit after washing. Customers should be notified before buying this of the problems with the linen fabric shrinking at least one size. It's kind of a disservice not to.

Perfect till it shrinks
I absolutely LOVE the pink and white stripe boyfriend shirt. The feel of the linen is amazing and the style is so cute.
However, I purchased it in the store and had not been online to see the reviews that it shrinks a whole size. I didn't know that until I looked to see if I could purchase another one. I highly recommend getting a size larger. I've purchase other items from Tommy Bahama and haven't had this happen.

Loved this cover up when purchased but as a lot of people have pointed out it shrank 1 full size. So disappointed.

Shrunk horribly
I understand this is linen but it could've been pre-shrunk! I hung to dry and it still shrunk so badly I can no longer wear it - which stinks because it WAS super cute. I only wore it once! Who has the time to hand-wash their beach cover ups?!?!

Perfect Cover-up
This is absolutely adorable plus you can wear this for other things besides just a swimsuit cover. The back detail is so nice plus it has pockets on the sides! Please note, size up because it seems to run a bit small esp. if you are fuller busted.

Size up - shrinks in the wash
I really like this cover up. I tried it on in the store and it was perfect - fit but roomy. The first time i washed it (cold) and line dried it, it shrank and its no longer works. I would purchase another but its already pricey. With that said, I still would recommend this product but definitely size up.

I love this cover up/shirt dress, but agree with other reviews. It shrank an entire size after one wash. I could not wear it a second time. Disappointed.

I wore this only once and then washed per the instructions (hand wash cold, line dry). As other reviewers wrote, it shrank an entire size. Now I cannot wear it again. What a waste of money.

Not very roomy
Im able to wear many XL items. However, this is very tight when buttoned & does not fit well at all. I’ll be giving it to my Mom. It’s a shame, because I really wanted this to work.

Exactly what I wanted until shrank after 1st wash
This cover-up was exactly what I wanted until I washed it per the directions. It shrank at least one size smaller. Very disappointed and will purchase a similarly styled shirt from another brand as the replacement.

Shrinks! A lot!
I bought this shirt in Palm Springs and loved it. When I washed it it shrink so much that I could not wear it. The manager told me it was my fault it shrunk even though I followed the care instruction on the tag exactly. Which was hand wash in cold water and hang to dry. She said it could have been the washing machine I used (I hand washed). Then she said it could have been the detergent I used. She kept saying on the back of the receipt it says cannot be returned after worn or washed. She was NOT going to return it no matter what I said. I contacted Tommy Bahama directly and they were great to work with. I won’t purchase at the Palm Springs location again. Terrible customer service! I am repurchasing this in a Larger size knowing it will shrink a lot and hoping it will be perfect for me after washed. Wish me luck!

I’m 5’3”, 103lbs & normally wear S because I like room. I ordered the XS because reviews said it ran big, and I can attest to that. The XS is perfect for me. It’s adorable, classy, and comfy! I love the detail at the back waistline and the fringe.

I bought the blue and white yesterday and love it so much that I will be purchasing the pink as well. I'm 5'1 / 109 lbs and the xxs fits perfectly. Its loose as this style should be so know that it isn't fitted. The length for me is great for a dress but could be used many other ways too. As with all Tommy items, it seems to run large but I can FINALLY buy one of their dresses without having it altered smaller. Very pleased with this one! Keep dresses like this coming please!!

Very loose fitting dress. A bit heavy for a cover up. and really too long for a swim cover up.
Shoulders were slim fitting, but the rest is very loose.
Was on the fence about keeping this item, until I saw the hole in the underarm sleeve.

Amazing shirt and great customer service!
Bought this shirt as a coverup but it has so many more uses~a shirt, dress, jacket~can be dressed up or down. This shirt is oh so soft and comfortable, love at first wear. Don’t hesitate on this purchase.
Not only are the clothes great, there can not be enough said about their customer service. I had to return an item and they could not have been more accommodating. Super clothes, awesome service~who could ask for.
