Cotton jeans with only a bit of stretch. These stretched out so much that I needed to put on a belt to keep them up - not my preference. I am reaching the conclusion that I am no longer a Tommy customer. The changes they have made and are making can't be good for their brand - I know it is not good for their customers. All you have to do is read the other reviews and you will see what I mean. I have been a long-term (well over 10 years) customer and have a closet full of Tommy. Thank god it is old Tommy - they last forever. The quality on the new stuff is not good. If there were some way to convince Tommy to go back, there would be many of us very happy. Otherwise, I am searching for something new.

They run big in the waist (not only the flex) and I wish there were 2 more belt loops to hold them up right. I didn't realize they would sag until after I took off the labels and wore them for a few hours. The waist drops below the belt on the sides and I have to keep pulling them back up under the belt. If I had realized the belt loop situation I would have tried a 38" waist.

And the new Indigo Palms straight leg jeans are terrible. I've been shopping to find a new line of jeans to wear after all these years. Then they came out with these Island Drifter Jeans which are great. Much like the cut of the previous relaxed fit jeans, they fit great. Still a little undecided on the new "stretchy" material, but so far I'm pleased and stopped my effort to find an alternative. Thank you TB for saving me.
