I purchased a large (my usual) to fit my hips and it fits pretty well around the chest. Only the neck feels like it is cut further back than feels good, such that the most comfortable way for me to wear the shirt is fully buttoned up to keep the neck opening from slipping back. My being petite might have to do with this neck issue.
