17 inch high beach chair

High Price, Great Product
This would be a Five-Star Rating with a more reasonable price. Take off the Name, and this chair is worth around $39.99 instead of over $75 that I paid with shipping & handling.

The highboy chairs are a great purchase. They are sturdy and easy to carry using the shoulder strap. They are more comfortable that any other beach chair I have purchased. While more expensive than other chairs, I feel they are worth the extra spend.

Poor quality build, arm screws fall out.
Bought 2 chairs and after 3 uses the arm rest screws stripped out of the wood. Had to rebuild with $2 worth of nuts and bolts from the hardware store (see pics). Doubt they will last more than 2 seasons with the overall poor build quality, you are paying big bucks for the name only.

arm rest screw fell off chair
Unfortunately after only using the chair two times, both of the screws fell out of the right arm rest. This made the arm rest separate from the chair. Fortunately I was able to recover one of them but I had to find a screw that fit to replace the other missing screw. I fixed it myself, so far the screw is holding. Very disappointing because this is an expensive chair and this should not have happened.

Best Portable Chair
After a long search, I have found the perfect portable chair for outdoor events, picnics and relaxing. The Tommy Bahama “Highboy Chair” is by far the best I have found. I tried numerous different “beach chairs” that leave you too close to the ground and other foldable canvas or nylon chairs with a wire frame that are hard to get out of and can be rather precarious to sit in. I finally turned to Tommy Bahama.
The Highboy Chair offers a solid sitting experience, easy carrying options with a wood handle on the side, a comfortable shoulder strap and the ability to carry it by holding onto the metal frame. It is light to carry and easily hangs on the wall or stands against the wall when not in use. It has a drink holder and places for your cell phone and reading material. And it adjusts s into 7 different positions from sitting upright to reclining. I am 6’-2,” weigh 220 pounds and find the Highboy Chair comfortable and sturdy.
