I can wear this half zip with a tone on tone t shirt or a button down dress shirt or just a white t shirt. I have a few of them. They hold up though numerous washings and still look new. Fit is great. Note the Tommy Bahama sizes are consistent, but more generous than most. I have a 43 inch chest. A medium fits me perfectly.

The sweater is 100% pima cotton, so is very soft. I have not laundered, so do not know if the item will shrink. The sweater would have been much to large if I had ordered a size up.
