Great frame Poor Lens
I've owned these for several years but never had a chance to leave a review. Used these a handful of times when I purchased them, but to echo what many others have said, the lens scratches incredibly easily. I own several other pairs of frames with the superthin glass and have never had the same issue. The frame is nice and stylish but the lens just doesn't live up to Maui's reputation. Unfortunate since I have just left these to sit on my countertop due to scratches affecting clarity. They do offer replacement lenses for 75/pair plus shipping but just hard to justify especially since others continue to have the same issue with lens quality. Wish they could make these with the glass lens.

Poor quality lens's
I love the look of these glasses. However, this is my second pair and the inside of my lens is disintegrating and oxidizing. I am not happy at all with these lenses. I think Maui Jim should repair my glasses for free with better lenses.
By the way, I have spent thousands of dollars through the years on Maui Jim glasses.

Light but mighty
At first I was kind of concerned as this was my first pair of Maui Jims and they just felt light and not higher quality. Well let me tell you that my first impression was incorrect. These are very high quality and have been through the wringer and they are still in excellent shape. I absolutely love how light they are on my ears and nose so they don’t slide down like some of my Ray Bans do. Of the 8 or 9 sunglasses I have ranging from Oakley to Ray Ban to Rokas, these are easily my favorite pair.

Scratch to easy stick with glass lens
I have never had this lens before and as others said you can’t a regular cleaning cloth on these they get baby hairline scratches easily , I wish I could get something else I do not recommend

Perfect for yearound adventure wear
Glasses have been on every snow, cycle, and water adventure for four years and have been amazing--durable and look great. They have a great lightweight fit for active wear. Great gentle wrap protection when biking was a nice bonus. Bronze lenses are great general daily lens. I just broke the frame but sent it back for the MJ repair service to keep them going hopefully another four years.

MJ vs Persol
They are pretty great. I also have a pair of Persol 714 Steve McQueen sunglasses, which is tough competition. As great as the Persols are, they are very heavy, which is what initially drove me to this MJ style. These live up to expectations for comfort, looks, and lens quality. I was expecting the frames to be lighter in colour. Too soon to say re durability, most likely their light weight trades off against that.

Another great addition to my collection
I am becoming a bit obsessive with Maui Jim sunglasses. Just another great pair that I added to the collection. This was the first time I strayed from the neutral grey lens and absolutely love the HCL Bronze lens.

Do NOT Buy These Glasses
I have owned MJs for nearly 12 years and these are my 4th pair. Do NOT buy these glasses. For some reason the lenses on these glasses are terrible. They scratch so easily, but not only on the exterior of the lens, mostly on the interior of the lens. It truly is unbelievable how terrible they are. I still have no idea how they have scratched. I won't be buying the brand anymore for fear that they have lowered their craftsmanship standards and are now producing less than desired products. What's worse is that MJ doesn't have a process for discussing these issues with them directly before having to put in a review (airing dirty laundry so to speak). Disappointing.

Lens Quality
Love the weight of these sunglasses but the lens durability isn't to standard with Maui's I have had in the past. I sold Maui for many years. I have been a fan of Maui for almost 20 years, I have had these less then 2 months and the lens are scratched. I have never had this issue with lens quality in the past

Love the sunglasses, and continue to keep buying them, but every time I do the lenses last about 6 months top. Scratches, coating coming off and more general discoloration on them. Great frame, non-durable lenses

I do love these glasses I’ve had them a year now and they are great and the first prescription ones I have ever bought, I went for the red lenses which I was dubious about but turns out they are very good indeed and look pretty cool! They are the most light weight of the Maui Jim’s I’ve ever owned but as per super quality from MJ

Love These So Far!
I am about a month into using these sunglasses and so far I love them. They are very light and the lenses are extremely clear. I chose the brown/amber lenses and was able to use them in the Dominican for fishing, golfing and boating. The clarity was excellent. I wore them for 7 days in a row for the majority of the day and they were so light I barely noticed them on my face.

Great fit, comfy all day wear
I’ve had half a dozen maui jim sunglasses. These are by far the lightest and most comfortable pair I’ve worn. Fish all day and no sore ears or nose bridge. Moreover, the option to chose a custom lense color at no extra charge is fantastic. This allows you to really dial in your lenses for the environment you’ll be using them in.

Good looking but fragile
Love the look, the view through the lenses, the weight of the glasses but hate how easily they get scratched.
I wore them the first day and were knocked off my head . Hit the ground and scratched. I’ve dropped many other Maui Jim’s and they didn’t scratch. Maybe these are too light weight?

LOVE these glasses and love the customer support
I hardly ever write reviews but this deserves a review. These glasses look and feel amazing. But most importantly in the Maui Jim customer service. I accidentally stepped on my glasses (I highly don't recommend this) and cracked the frame. I was super bummed but contacted customer service. I sent them in and within a week for a small price they replaced the frames. Also I had sent my glasses in with my old beat up case, and without asking they also included a new case for me. I have 4 pairs of MJ's and can't wait to get a 5th pair
