Nice lens flimsy though
2 stars only because I love the look and the lens , but dropped on the boat one time a lens popped out put it back in then dropped again a month later and the whole Fran cracked off of the temple sucks because I really like this , gonna send them in for repair let’s hope they don’t snap again

Wanted to Like, But…
I really wanted to like these sunglasses because the lens quality is outstanding—far better than other lenses I’ve tried. Unfortunately, everything except the lenses has been disappointing. One lens popped out while I was doing minimal activity in the ocean, and shortly after, the frame broke at the connection between the lens and the arm. Both rubber tips on the frame also fell off, and I’ve noticed the frame becomes extremely soft and malleable in warm weather, which causes the arms of the frames to warp.
I’ve had these for less than two years, and sending them in for repairs/replacement would cost nearly as much as buying a new pair. While I initially loved them during the first few months, the durability issues have been frustrating to say the least. After spending a premium price and taking good care of these sunglasses, it’s disappointing that I’ll likely have to throw them away. I’ve learned my lesson and will be looking for other brands that are more reliable and better suited for active use.

Not worth it
Not great but not bad. Lenses are really good and visually are great. The frame and components are a let down. The temple rubber pieces slide off so easy. Theres no rubber piece on the nose meaning if u get any oil or sweat it will slide. For the price you expect better. Wish i could return these but its outside of that window so.

Temples and Weak Glass
Had these now for only a few weeks. The temple pieces are starting to slide like mentioned in other reviews. And the glass has miraculously gotten scratched and I have been meticulous about have I’ve handled them. One of the main reasons I purchase glass lenses is to be somewhat resistant to minor scratches. Extremely disappointing.

Disappointed in the lenses
Incredibly disappointed in the lens durability. This is my third pair of MJ’s and I’ve never had any issues with the other glass lenses. I’m always careful with my glasses to the point of neurotic. I’m not sure if MJ has changed up the lens construction, but these are scratched terribly after about month of ownership. I couldn’t recommend these to anyone.
The fit and frame quality is nice and they stay on my head well, but the lenses are a no go.

Great lenses, not that great build quality
Love my glasses due to great lenses and the vision it provides.
Same time can only confirm what some others wrote; the rubber of the temples are sliding off and basically almost from next day after purchase. Using it for a year and now it's getting pretty annoying.
Would expect better quality from this price point. Wondering if there is any solution for this.

Great look, poor temple pieces
I love the way these glasses look and the lenses as others have mentioned are great. But, the same as others, the rubber temple pieces slide off and have cracked/broken on my pair. Also, there is a weird grease/oil or something that is released by the rubber pieces

Mostly great!
Love the look, weight, feel. Got the Hawaii Lava lenses and like the look through them. I baby my sunglasses but even so, I’m already seeing some fine scratches on the lenses after only a couple weeks, so questioning the durability hence the 1-star dock.

Molding issues?
I found a few imperfections on the frame of my glasses. I thought that I somehow may have scratched the frame of my glasses the week that I bought them and was super disappointed in myself.
After deeper inspection, I discovered that they weren’t scratches but instead, were raised peaks that had to have come from some sort of manufacturing defect. It’s raised enough that you can obviously feel it with your fingernail!
These were my first ever pair of Maui Jims and I almost didn't buy them because they are so overpriced but I caved because 1) it was my birthday so I felt like splurging on myself, 2) I loved the way that I looked in them.
Probably going to stick to Costas or some other brand in the future because at this price point, sunglasses should be manufactured with immaculate quality and six sigma process engineering standards.

Not worth it.
Wish I would have went elsewhere, lenses are nice, but who cares when they’re carried in flimsy, cheap feeling frames? It’s like putting super nice rims, on a car that doesn’t run properly. 1 star is from the lenses, 0 from the frames. They also don’t stay on your face.

Great Look - Keep sliding off
Seems my issue is the same as everyone elses... Regularly slid off my head. I love the look of the One Way. it's a shame that finally one of the falls, the lense cracked.

Fantastic
This is my third pair of MJ sunglasses. I've usually leaned more towards the sporty wrap style but wanted a pair that was more suitable for dressier occasions and lighter weight when driving . So far, I couldn't be happier with this choice. The look and fit are great and you hardly feel like you're wearing anything on your face. As always, the clarity of MJ's is top notch.

The fit is more comfortable than any pair of glasses, prescription or sunglasses, I’ve ever experienced. So much so after my annual eye exam in Oct I’m gonna get prescription lenses for them.
The tint anti glare is nothing less than perfection.
100% would recommend anyone shopping for a new set of sunglasses, go with Maui Jim’s you won’t regret it.

Ear pieces fall off -- too bad. Surprisingly bad quality/design for a Maui Jim product.
Like the other reviews, my ear pieces/temples slid off today, unbeknownst to me. Totally lost them. No idea why this happens but must be a design defect given that all of the other reviewers noted that the same thing happened to them.

Bands separate
Love them minus the bands coming slightly separated. That’s a slight annoyance for the price. Reading the reviews now, it looks like that’s a common issue. If they could get that fixed, these would be my favorite sunglasses ever!

Great! Until claimed by the lake..
I thoroughly enjoyed my pair of One Way's. They were very comfortable and could handle when I was participating in many outdoor activities (ie golfing, beach volleyball, mountain biking), no slipping off the bridge of my face, the rubber help to my head nicely. I had the same issue as other with the rubber on the arms moving. It was an inconvenience, but didn't prevent me from wearing them. They were my first ever prescription sunglasses. Unfortunately, the rope while wake surfing caught an arm and took them right off my face while boating on my birthday, otherwise this review wouldn't be past-tense! (Looking into the best deal I can to get them replaced). Overall, would recommend to anyone who is looking at these frames.

Not like the picture
I purchased these based on the picture of which looked black frames with gray lens and when i got them they are gray frames and are not what i was looking for. The shape is perfect i just wish they were a classic black color.
