Need updated nose pads for the Ocean sunglasses
Absolutely love Maui Jim lenses. They are the best sunglasses in my opinion. Tho, the pair I purchased, Ocean, have an embedded nose piece that causes pain and leaves a red mark regardless of time worn

Not to wear on top of your head
I love the way they look! However, when not wearing, I live with my sunglasses on my head. There is no way that these will stay on. They barely reach my ears and slip down or back if my head isn't straight up and down. I'm just afraid they're going to fall off too often - back they go!

Good frames
They're really well made. I'm having a lot of trouble getting my RX lenses put in them. The coordination between MJ and the authorized optometrist doesn't seem great? The glasses are great, I just can't see out of them:-)

Was excited for my first pair of nice sunglasses. While nice, there are a few things that have made the purchase not worth the money to me. (1) Although they are plastic frames, they still have a nose piece embedded into the frames. When I tried them on, I didn't think anything about it. However, now that I'm wearing them an extended amount of time the nose piece is very uncomfortable and sticks to my nose, leaving red marks. I tried to research how to adjust them, but it doesn't look like it's possible since they're embedded in the frames. I understand why they're there (to prevent them from slipping off my face). I just wish they were more comfortable. (2) While the sunglasses fit on my face nicely, they will not sit on top of my head without falling off which is very frustrating. I tried to look up whether I could adjust the frame width, but it doesn't appear that I can. And even if I could, I'm not sure that would work because they fit nicely on my face so I suspect adjustment would make it too tight. I have a feeling the lens are going to be scratched from falling before I can break the habit of placing them on top of my head. (3) Although the HCL Bronze lens are the 2nd darkest lens offered, I find myself squinting with the sunglasses on. I don't typically have sensitive eyes, so this was a surprise to me. I've only been using the glasses a couple of weeks, so my hope is my eyes will adjust, but so far, the lens are not dark enough.
Positives are they are lightweight and stylish. Considering the overall review average is so high, I would say I'm largely alone in my gripes, but I wanted to share nonetheless.

Bought my first Maui Jim sunglasses in 2012. Bought a new pair today!
I was very disappointed in the case. My first case was a hard shell with a zipper. I still have it. The new case is flimsy
So disappointed. Love my glasses though.

Best sunglasses EVER!!
I love these sunglasses. My first pair I had for five years, they look amazing, lightweight, super clear lenses. Then I was stupid and wore them in….the ocean. The ocean claimed their namesake glasses from me. I was ecstatic that MJ still made them and replaced them the same day. Actually bought two pair, so I have a spare, I love them that much. Never stop making this style!

BEST glasses & customer service!
LOVE this pair! So much that I bought the blue ones too! Been a consumer for 20 years! Have several pairs including hookipa since 2005! Just got the lens replaced on those! Can’t go wrong with Maui Jim’s! Customer service is fantastic and they fixed my Ocean pair for free when a dog chewed off one side! Got my glasses back just in time for my Hawaii vacation!

Perfect Size!
This is my fourth pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. I’ve loved them all, but I particularly love the look and lightweight fee of the MYMAUI OCEAN. When I took them to Costa Rica and accidentally lost them in the Pacific Ocean on day 3 of wearing them I was devastated. I like this style so much however that I just ordered a replacement pair (with lava lenses!). I also love how well the sunglasses case folds up so it’s not an issue taking it in a day bag for adventures, etc. highly recommend!

Love these....lost my first pair.. that awesome I bought 2nd time!!
Love these!! I had lost my first pair I had for 1.5 years and immediately wanted to replace them because I loved so much. I love the pop of blue. The polarized lenses make every sky and landscape brighter. I appreciate their program that recognizes medical workers which is what helped me be able to replace the lost pair. Highly recommend!!

Spring Hinges not as great as traditional
The spring hinges don't work for my head. I would lean down to look at something (read/phone, etc.) and they would fall off my head. I use my sunglasses to also hold my hair back or flip them up on my head so I don't misplace them, and that won't work with this pair. I've had Maui Jim's in the past and will continue to buy them in the future... just without spring hinges.

Excellent quality and great customer service
I love my new glasses! They're very comfortable and provide great sun coverage. My sunglasses are prescription and the lenses are super clear and sharp. I can't say enough about the customer either. I had an issue with a different style that I originally chose and their customer service was exceptional. They took care of me (the customer) without hesitation. I highly recommend this company and I'm so glad I chose to use Maui Jim for my prescription sunglasses! Super happy customer

Fashionable but sporty too
I love my ocean Maui Jim’s! They aren’t too big but are slightly larger than a standard sunglass which lends to a fashionable yet still can wear out doing my hikes, bike rides and other outdoor activities.

Love the rose colored lens
I love it! It’s light weight and the rose lens are amazing. I can feel my eyes relax as soon as I put them on. The non-slip nose pad is great too. No more nose pieces getting tangled in my hair.

Rose Colored Glasses
I'm so happy with these glasses. They are flexible and light, and I love the lenses. My previous pair had dark grey lenses and were too dark for me. This pair has rose/pink colored lenses and are perfect for me. The only thing I would change would be the nose piece. I purposely looked for glasses without the little nose pads. And while these glasses do not have the tear drop screw in nose pads, they do have a small rubber pad on each side of the frame where it sits on my nose. I didn't think anything of it when I tried them on, but the rubber pads tend to be sticky when they've been worn for a bit. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I always love the Maui Jim rose colored lens! I found the frames of the pair I received to be loose on my face, with one bow also a bit loose. I consider my face shape/size to be normal but these have potential to fall off if I am looking down. I plan to have to the bow tightened and hopefully that will improve this frame for me.
