Rated 5 out of 5 by TrestonS from Best Sunglasses I've ever owned Japanese titanium is one of the most lightweight materials to possibly have for any frame. I use this frame on a daily basis and have had no headaches, no marks or nose pads slipping after hours of usage. I am a big fan of Maui Jim, I've owned multiple pairs but Moon Doggy's are the best sunglasses yet. Maui Jim's have definitely stepped up to the plate when it comes to fashion and it shows.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sydney from I desperately wanted to love these, but I'm scared to wear them I had read the other reviews about these glasses being lightweight, but even that didn't prepare me for how light these are. These glasses are incredibly lightweight, to the point of it being a concern. They either feel very cheap (like I could snap the temples between my fingers) or so high-tech as to be weightless, and given how much they cost, I don't like that I can't tell whether the quality is there or not. These frames felt so thin to the point that I'm worried about damaging them. I don't feel comfortable wearing these glasses knowing how expensive they are, and I decided to send them back.

I have a pair of Cliffhouse (for 10 years probably) and finally wanted to upgrade the style for my fishing glasses. These are my new faves. Mauis are my favorite for fishing and outdoor activities. These fit great w/ a ball cap and I've never had an issue w/ quality. The polarization is PERFECT.

Got this when i was in Maui,HI These are VERY cool, and extremely light, like the lightest pair of glasses i have every worn, you almost forget you have something on your face( and only realize once you see your reflection somewhere) but i do have to say, i have started noticing very light scratches, and i have been extremely careful in using it, keeping in box every time and only using the cleaning cloth provided. I fear that after a while the scratches will become even more prominent, and for glasses that are not cheap i am not sure how i feel about this. but the tint, is really cool, especially during evening sunsets. longevity not sure yet( these glasses are still very 'new')

The immediate minty-cool relaxation of your eyes upon donning the glasses is legendary. I particularly like how the rim to temple ratio is balanced, you don't feel the glasses will slip off your nose. The subtle dark acetate detail on the upper rim of the moon doggy complements the main frame titanium. Understated elegance at its finest.
