Love my Maui Jim Lighthouse
I only wear polarized sunglasses and I love these stylish shades so much I always keep a spare available and I've purchased them in other colors. I also recently purchased them with readers. They are so lightweight and comfortable that I often forget I'm wearing them while working out, etc. because they stay put!

Blown away by the Quality
I have had my pair of Lighthouses for 7 years now. I generally take good care of my glasses but have dropped them from time to time and they have landed on the lens more than once. Only recently did I get a small scratch on the lens. You can't see it when looking at it, but you can see the light filter through the lens. I even accidentally smacked myself in the face with the sun visor in the car about 5 years ago now and it made a small crack in the lens between the outer edge and the arm attachment, but it must have cracked within the lens because it it still smooth and I have continued to wear them for the last 5 years with no spreading of the crack or issues of any other kind. They are super light weight, which I love, and look really nice. I do have very sensitive eyes to sunlight and I like how these wrap around my face a bit. I bought the brown lenses and am getting ready to buy a 2nd pair of lighthouses and will do the darker lenses this time.

Broke at bridge - too fragile
Broke at the bridge after 3 months of light usage. Broke while simply cleaning the lens with the lens cloth. 2nd pair exact same failure both times. I’m careful too. Poor bridge design too fragile for everyday use.

They are so clear; they remove glare from the water so it makes it easy and fun to see fish in a lake; they really block the sun rays.

My favorite sunglasses
I LOVE these sunglasses. This is my third pair of Maui Jim's, and I'll never buy any other sunglasses again. These are so light and so comfortable, I forget I have them on! They are very delicate though, so if you aren't someone who feels like handling their sunglasses with extreme care, I'd suggest looking for some sturdier ones with frames.

Great quality and fit but not as feminine as I would like
I purchased the Rootbeer Color. I like the way they fit but they just were not that feminine. I will look for another pair that fit the same but are more girly (:)

Probably my favorite pair of Maui Jims
I have four pairs of Maui Jim rimless sunglasses, including titanium, Grilamid, and nylon frames. This Lighthouse pair was the least expensive of them all, but they are my favorite. The nylon frames are as lightweight as the titanium frames, and they fold up even more compactly than the Ho-okipa Grilamid pair that has the same base curve. So they hang flat from the loop on my fishing shirt with no fear of falling.
The shape is also dynamite: Big wraparound lenses that aren't too big or overwhelming, with a very
slightly "flatter" profile that looks great.

Great glasses but serious flaw
Had some MJ 320 02D Maui Jim glasses but they just broke at the nose joint. Way too expensive to have this problem rendering them useless

Poor quality glasses
Glasses broke at the nose joint. Seems to be a common problem with these glasses. I've owned Maui Jims glasses for years and I love the lens. Just seems like these new ones are poorly made and they won't cover the problems under warranty.

Very comfortable and lightweight
Love how light these glasses are. Very pleased, so much so, I bought a second pair to keep in my other car. I normally get a headache if I wear glasses too long. Not an issue with these. So light and flexible, I almost can't tell I am wearing them.

You wont know your wearing them!
This will be my 3rd pair of Maui Jim Lighthouse, my first pair broke after 2 years at the nose piece. My second pair I had more custom tortoise frames and love them for formal wear. This 3rd pair are just like my originals and I use them for driving and fishing and boating and never know I have them on. I also like to play golf with these as they have no distortion and I am able to see so clear it doesn't affect reading the greens. When Fly Fishing on the river, I see fish long before others and love them for sight fishing. Super light and Clear lens.

Great glasses but some weaknesses
I love these glasses but the nose piece is weak and we have broken 2 pair now between my wife and I. Great lightweight glasses just not strong enough.

Great glasses, but have a design flaw.
I've owned 2 pairs of lighthouses. Both, unfortunately broke at the nose piece. I love them, but I can't waste my money on something that has an obvious design flaw.

Light and protective
These glasses are so light and offer great protection for my sensitive eyes. I sat on my first pair - they take plenty of abuse, but not that much. I came back to by the identical pair. I will be more careful with them this time.

Fantastic value!
Extremely light and tough. I’ve had these for about 6 years everyday and finally the middle piece broke. I replaced them as quickly as I could. I completely forget they’re on my face. Great to wear while golfing and fishing.

Great Shads that will last you a long time!
I bought these shades with my first college paycheck in 2013. I've had them for 7 years and they held up, even after they became "My old shades" and I treated them a bit more poorly than I would've when I first bought it. I'm actually on this page to buy the exact same pair because I love the style.
Very light, comfortable and great for protecting your eyes. They're durable, so long as you don't have them on your chest/shirt like I did and then go in for an aggressive bro-hug. 10/10, would buy again.

Very satisfied
These sunglasses are great. I use them for freshwater fishing and I can now see much subsurface detail. They are very comfortable as well. I highly recommend them. In addition the customer service on the phone and online is outstanding!

I love these glasses!
This is the 3rd pair of lighthouse glasses that I have purchased. They look great and I love the fact that they are feather light. I always get them with the green HT lenses and they are amazing. I have had to change my habits however. I usually put my sunglasses on my hat when not wearing them. These will not stay and will fall to the ground and get scratched so beware.

Best sunglasses Ive ever owned. So lightweight; Ive never been able to wear sunglasses for extended periods of time because of the nose pain or temporal/ear pain Ive gotten from the wear, but these are so lightweight I can wear them all day without even noticing them! Love em.

Best. Sunglasses. Ever.
Best. Sunglasses. Ever! This is my second pair. It’s my second pair only because a friend’s toddler sat on my first pair exactly right and the frame cracked right at the screw. Prior to that, I dropped them, I banged them, I scraped them...and nothing. They never scratched, they never bent, they never anything. I lost one nose guard three years ago. Maui Jim promptly sent me a new pair. These glasses are so light on the face. Color is so true to reality. Just amazing glasses. I can’t fathom anything else!

Worth the buy
Had these almost two years now. By far my fav. My lenses have a small crack at the bridge but only noticable to me so I can't mind. Just asked for replacement nose pads also. Was so simple. So pros and cons.
Pros are so light weight, looks great, so far awesome customer service, makes the world more crisp
Cons are a bit fragile of your one that's rough on glasses, sticker shock for sure, seems like the legs are loosing up some, and you can not repair your self.

Love & Hate Relationship!
This was a love at first sight. At the store they told me this model would take just about anything, and they do, but after 6 months of taking sun and use, the bridge gets weak: the bridge may brake and the lenses may crack where the bridge connects.
I had 4 pairs of this model for the last 5 year, the first broke because I was showing off to my friends how flexible, light and stylish they are, and the leg broke, Mau Jim replaced them at not charge, the second pair don't remember what happen but also broke but it was my fault and pay full price for the replacement, third I lost the in a speed boat but the 4th pair broke in the bridge from regular use and one lens cracked. MJ customer service has always been excellent and worked with me to find the best solutions.
I come to the conclusion after reading others reviews and my own experience that this 5th time it will be the last I will have these sunglasses and is a shame, because if only MJ fixes the flaws, this model could be a legend.
Pros: Super lightweight, you won't feel that you wear them, excellent lens vision, stylish, they fit and look great in every person.
Cons: Be careful that the legs are not too tight because overtime constant opening it may create too much stress in the bridge and lenses, this may cause them to crack.
I hope this review helps you to choose or not and how to take care of these sunglasses.
