These aren’t as “stylish” as the MJs I use for driving, but they’re great for yard work and I’m sure they’d be fine for sports. The only thing I don’t particularly like about my MJs is that they make my ears stick out a little, if I don’t put the ends on my ball cap—but they do hold onto my cap when I stow them on the brim (I hope that makes sense). Still, great lenses, lightweight and they don’t slip down my nose. Good purchase.

Love the Maui Jim sunglasses
I love my Maui Jim Hot Sands sun glasses. Actually I have ordered 4 pair over the years. My first pair was old and became scratched. So I purchased a new pair in blue. Then my eye doctor said that I would be able to see the golf ball better if I had brown shade, so I got the brown tone. My husband had cataract surgery and no longer needed glasses, but needed sunglasses so I bought him a pair. So now we have 4 pairs of Maui Jim sunglasses

Maui Jim's are the best sunglasses!
My first pair of Maui Jim's was stolen and I couldn't live without them. I immediately had to have another pair of these wonderful glasses. I have had cataract surgery and these prevent UV rays from damaging my eyes. Plus I love the style.

Hot Sands Review
The Hot Sands model is perfect for me. They are large enough for good coverage on the face, but not too large. Good for sports as they don't slip with the rubber pads over the ears. This is my second pair as I lost my first pair on a train in Europe.

HOT SANDS
My wife and I spend a great deal of time in the air and on the water while working. I have 5 pair of Maui Jim glasses, but for overall traveling and being on or near the water I wear my Hot Sands with the Grey lens. Not only are they well made, but they are also lightweight, and the grey lens are absolutely awesome. I can wear them all day long with no "glasses fatigue".

Check case
Lifeguard/EMT in sunny Florida have owned these sands for the past 3 months and sun rays have difficulty penetrating these lenses. The manufacturing is quality on these. I accidentally stepped on the glasses and the lens popped out but easily popped back in. The case is not well developed as they deteriorated after daily use . One side of the case came apart and I was forced to slide in glasses until the side also came apart. Seems they need tougher glue. Now my lenses are more susceptible to scratches due to no case.

I have cataracts, dry eyes, and right now other eye issues related to the side effects of chemotherapy. These glasses are great no light or sunlight comes through. And I love the fit.

They come with a small trifold case unfortunately the glasses do not fit as they need a large case,
the frames are very flexible and much more robust than I first thought.
Personally I would like the lenses to be a little lower so I bought a pair of Big Wave that I love but kept the Hot sands as I love the blue frames

Love, Love, Love These
Love these glasses!! Great fit, lightweight and very comfortable. This is my fourth pair. I unfortunately lost 2 pairs and broke another. I am being VERY careful with these. Maui Jim's are awesome, that's why I keep replacing them!! I live in Florida where the sun is very bright in the summer. These are great for bright sun. I've been on vacation in Aruba and would not travel without my Maui Jim's.

Love my blue frame Hot Sands sunglasses. I’ve owned several pair of Maui Jim’s, this is my favorite pair. Light weight, excellent protection and I kinda like the tri-fold case. I find myself using the tri-fold way more than the old bulky cases, which extends the life of the lenses.

BEST SUNGLASS PURCHASE
LOVE LOVE LOVE the hot sands sunglasses. I have had them for a few years now. still look like new. so light, forget that I have them on. I have the blue ones. Great color and clarity. so clear that I don't use my regular glasses underneath. My husband is very fussy about his sunglasses, and when he tried on my Hot Sands, he was immediately impressed and wants to trade his old ray bans for my Maui Jim. (his face nd my fist are still sore. )just kidding. I am so happy that I bought these and will be purchasing another pair in a different color and a pair for my hubby.

Love my Maui Jims!
I LOVE my Maui Jims!! I have two pair of Atoll - one with brown lens and one with grey - and love them both! I've had them for several years. I dropped the brown ones once and broke the a lens. Sent them in for repair and for the price of the lenses got them back good as new! Just bought a pair of Hot Sands and love them too! They are so light and comfortable and the wrap is great. Cant wait to use them playing golf!

Scratched first week
I’ve only worn them 3-4 times. They look and feel good. Dropped them the other day and now have pinhead size scratches on right lens directly in field of view. Bummer.
