However, I had to take the hat back to the store for a swap as the one she orderered was uncomfortably small. Excited to make the trade, we arrived at the store to learn they had the other size in-stock only to find it was too large. Sadly for me, I fall just between the two sizes offered. The head band of this hat was a little different from most of the Tommy Bahama hats offered. I own a few other Tommy Bahama one-size-fits-most hats and tried others on that fit fine, but the Ezra Vented Panama wasn't quite as flexible. As a point of reference, my normal hat size is a 7 1/4 U.S. or 58 metric, one that I have always thought of as very average size.

It seems firmer and better made than the cheaper ones I've had and it felt better than the others in the store. The best part is the air flow, huge difference vs those without vents. I wear a 7 5/8 and the large fit perfectly.
