Always a Winner!
This pair replaces a lost pair during travel, and their fit, performance, and style are all typical Maui Jim. My wife and I each have multiple pairs for each car and each activity so we can always protect our eyes with style.

Nice Lens, needs more light isolation
The lens quality is fantastic, as you'd expect from Maui Jim. The frame, compared to competitors, is just OK. They also don't have the light isolation of the White Havens they're replacing. I like them, but I don't love them.

Highly disappointed
I am really disappointed the way they fit, and I don’t really care for the way they look on my face. This is the first time I’ve purchased sunglasses in this fashion. I will never do it again. I feel like I’m stuck with sunglasses I will probably never wear.

Best Brand in the Business!
This is my 4th pair of Maui Jim Sunglasses are they are the only brand I will buy. They are great quality and will last a lifetime if you take care of them. Even if you experience an issue their service is the best in the business another reason why I remain loyal!

a little cheaper
The quality isn't as good as it used to be and it costs more. the temples don't have the spring in them. They feel a little cheaper on my head. The online process was really slow. I purchased 2 other glasses, one too large and the other too small. It took a long time...several weeks.

Great build quality. I tried on about a dozen different models in stores to find what fit the best. The castles were my best option, but the ones I received online seem to be bigger that in stores. I know it doesn’t make any sense unless someone had bent the arms to fit better in store I guess.

New Style Replacements
These were a replacement pair for my husband. His old style was discontinued. These were the closest, but still not a fan of the new styles. He still has 2 more "old" styles, they also need repairs, however, since being discontinued, that's impossible. We both love and wear Maui Jim's. Please, bring back the "old school" style aviators!

The glasses are nice and lightweight, however, I am finding them to be very fragile -
they have slid off my face more than once - even after having the optometrist properly fit them. It was her recommendation that I should probably purchase another pair with a slightly smaller size lens. Saving up now to do that.

Big Quality, but bigger head.
I love the look and how clean the world looks when the glasses are on. I never feel like the view is distorted or altered like other sunglasses. I like that I am a large human and the glasses look appropriately sized.
I love that I am also a blue eyed human and I can wear the Castles outside in these early summer days and they don't immediately start watering to protect them
I don't like the fact that I wear a size 8 hat and I feel like these sunglasses are still a shade too big even for my oversized melon. I don't like how the only way I can carry them is folded up and hanging off my shirt. If I put them on top of my head or my hat and look down at all, they are guaranteed to fall off. I'm not a fan of the fact that I feel like I can't adjust the nose piece so I'm not constantly pushing my sunglasses back up my face.
I like it significantly more than I dislike them, and will continue to enjoy my sunglasses.for hopefully.many years to come, but I wish they were just a tad tighter.

Blue Hawaii Castles
I have long been a fan of the Castles model, and it is by far my favourite that Maui Jim has to offer. I was stoked when they refreshed this model with new colours, so much so that I bought the new Blue Hawaii lens. This model is sturdy and provides excellent coverage while also offering a stylish alternative. I have attached photos comparing the neutral grey, HCL bronze and Blue Hawaii (yes, I really like this model!). While Maui Jim excels in many areas, they do not provide sufficient information on the various lens types. Through reading comments and personal experience, the Blue Hawaii lens is probably the most mysterious of them all. Its tint varies depending on the type of lens. For example, STG and Maui Pure have an amber (with a shade of purple) view, whereas Maui Brilliant has a greenish-amber shade. I have attached photos that show the difference between neutral grey, HCL Bronze and Blue Hawaii. I have also added Maui Brilliant from a pair of custom Kanio Coasts that I once owned. Hopefully, this information helps someone with their choice and avoids surprises, and Maui Jim also takes a hint and adds more details to their webpage.
