What's more, the new elastic around the waist is very uncomfortable. I have been a long time purchaser of your shorts and will be looking elsewhere. Bring back the prior year's model and I will come back to Tommy.

As usual the fabric is top notch, smooth, soft and comfortable with the expected true to size fit. There is likely another pair in store. I have my TB coupon to use so….

Rated 2 out of 5 by lagieski from love the boracay shorts ..........but I love the Borocay shorts I have bought at least 10 pair over the last 5 years .They say wash in cold water and no dryer inorder to keep the one inch elastic band at the bottom on shorts from curling up....which if it does looks like a petty coat ruffle. I have been super dilegent to adhere the washing instructdions but almost all of them are unwearable with the bottom ruffles and thats not right for a $110.00 pair of shorts. I recently bought a white pair and after one wash the band started curling up. When I returned them to the TB shop they told me they would not replace them so now I have over 500.00 or shorts cannodt wear.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Afan from Hem on men's shorts wrinkles after washing We are a fan of Tommy Bahama clothing. Great style and quality.... until ....the problem with my husband's favorite shorts. The hems on 4 pair of shorts wrinkle to the point where he decided he can't wear them anymore. Believe me, I tried everything to make the hems lay flat. One pair was purchased just a month or so ago. I reached out to customer service who offered to reimburse for the pair he recently purchased, however, it appears from things I've read online, this is a problem that has been reported by others yet not yet taken care of. I expect more from TB. Please fix the problem because these were his favorites. PS. Tried to add a picture, however, not allowed. BTW...the customer service representative was lovely and helpful.

I would assume it was a defective zipper, and when I contacted customer service, I was only offered a 15% discount applied to a future purchase, as I didn't have my receipt and I had purchased them more than a year ago. This won't stop me from buying more, I just expected more...

Also, the updated waistband is not comfortable and unnecessary. I have 10+ pairs of the old style and will not be buying anymore of the updated version. Bring back the original.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Joe vonR from Bring back the old ones When they redesigned the boracay shorts, they ruined them. The only problem I had with prior shorts was the zipper. Which they kept the same. The modifications that they did do, made them more uncomfortable, and less attractive. They now have a waistband built-in, which is too snug and rubs the hips They added stitching to the side pockets, which now make the pants look like cargo shorts. The material is slightly different and slightly stiffer which adds to the lack of comfort. A minor thing that really doesn't matter, but it means something to me is they got rid of the Marlon lining inside the shorts. I work Construction as my nice shorts started to wear in, I would wearthem to work and they did just fine minus the zipper. Shame on the marketing department for changing these great shorts.
