Perfect for all occasions in warm weather, and great if it’s a little cooler out also as they are a touch thicker than other shorts. They stretch also, so you don’t ever feel to bunched up in them. I use them while traveling because they hold up so well. Also ... make sure and pay attention to the color guide; the pictures on line are not the same as in person. The color I bought was a nice shade of blue, but on line the color appears much more toward the 'robin egg blue' color appearance. I'm glad I went by one of the stores so that I could see how different the color was in person versus on line. Bottom line: great well made shorts!
