I’m impressed with the quality and will certainly consider more colors. I tend to wear chino shorts last (after all my favorite jean shorts are dirty ;) ), but these are more comfortable than I expected. Nice and as dressy as shorts can be.

Also the waistline was way too large, so it was extremely loose and stuck out away from the body. It’s too bad they fit so poorly because they were very soft and could have been really comfortable if they fit properly.

The green fabric is a little stretchier than the navy or tan, and I have worn that pair to death. My very favorite!! These are shorter, obviously, and I am debating whether to keep them, as the green is not available anymore in the 7".

I washed one pair (green) and tumbled dried on low and they shrunk a good amount. After that happened I made sure that I didn't tumble dry my second pair and just let them dry flat and the size stayed the same. After spending a lot on these shorts last summer even though I think they are great quality aside from shrinking I am disappointed after spending so much. I should have brought them right back to the store in Massachusetts when it happened but I'm disabled and it isn't easy for me to get out.
