I bought two about a year ago. The zipper pulls failed and fell off within a month of each other. The zippers still work but there is no pull. This has never happened on any other garment I own. This is not the quality I expect from Tommy Bahama products.

Personally, I recommend dry cleaning them if you want them to look new longer. Yup, I know, it adds to the expense - so he doesn't dry clean all of them -just the ones he wants to keep for going out to nice places.

Having always ordered the same size without concern, I ordered the same in this pair. Sadly, they were quite snug. Putting them again others of the same size, they were clearly cut smaller in the waist. Luckily, I could exchange them for the next size up, and they fit perfectly!
