My waist is approximately 25" but felt I could deal with .5". They feel off of me. Upon measuring, I found the waist to be 30". Really liked these and needed them but you cannot rely on size chart! Returning both for refund.

I am in between sizes so my thighs fit the shorts comfortably but loose on my waist. I purchased a size M cause I normally am an M. I'm 5.2-1/2ish"/148ishlbs. I actually have two of these. I tried on a small, the waistline and shorts are comfortable but the skirt didn't sit well. Oh well. Still my go to and enjoyable to wear. Easy to match and go.

I decided to get one and it is a really nice look and very comfortable. I usually wear a medium but got a small only because my sister got a medium and she is a little bigger than me. Ended up to be a good decision it fits great. I hav a dress that is a small and one that is Xsmall. I never wear small so that tells you that certain items run big.
