Farmhouse Sliders


Makes: 2 sliders


2 (2 oz) Hawaii Ranchers beef sliders

1 slice sharp cheddar cheese, cut in half

2 (2 oz) pork belly slices

2 brioche slider buns

2 pieces Bibb lettuce

2 vine-ripened tomatoes, cut in 1/4-inch slices

2 pickle chips

2 oz caramelized sweet Maui onion, divided


  • Season the sliders with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot sauté pan or flat-top stove until done. Add cheese and melt.
  • Cook the pork belly until golden brown.
  • Toast the slider buns in the hot sauté pan or flat-top stove until golden brown, on the cut sides only.
  • To assemble each slider, place the lettuce on the bottom bun, then the tomato. Place the slider on top of the tomato, then add the pork belly, pickle chip and caramelized onions.
  • Place a bamboo pick through each slider and serve.
