Tailgating with the Bloom Family

Tailgating with the Bloom Family

On a sunny California afternoon, three generations of the Bloom family rallied at the parking lot of the L.A. Memorial Coliseum. A tent was set up. A spread was laid out. Drinks were poured.

It was time for some serious tailgating.

Like many families across the country, the Blooms are passionate college football supporters who take pride in doing game day right. This means hosting a great pre-game party for friends and family, showing up with voices ready to cheer and showing off their best college tailgate fan gear.

Tailgating with the Bloom Family

Ron Bloom graduated from USC in 1955, and tells us he has been to over 500 home and away USC games! He’s wearing: Tommy Bahama Collegiate Fez Fronds Camp Shirt

Ron’s son, Mitch, graduated from USC in 1985. Three hundred Trojan games later, he still tailgates with his fraternity brothers, who joined the party in matching team colors. They’re wearing: Tommy Bahama Collegiate Fez Fronds Camp Shirt, Tommy Bahama Collegiate Camp Safari Trim Fit Polo.

Mitch’s kids all went to USC too—Jared is a junior and Brenna graduated in 2014. Shayla, a 2011 grad, married a passionate Cal Golden Bears fan, Ben, who turned up wearing his own team colors. After all, what’s a tailgate without some healthy rivalry?
