BEAUTIFUL and CALMING Scent
I was given this candle as a gift and have been trying to purchase it for several months. Please bring this scent back and make it available for purchase. It is absolutely beautiful.

Nice, clean, coconut heaven!
This candle is the perfect match for a clean coconut smell. The smell is not overpowering but very noticeable. The candle quality is as expected as the other Tommy Bahama brand- burns clean, fresh and long lasting.

Get Em' While You Can!
I'm not sure why, but at the time of this writing, the Coconut Driftwood Candle is on clearance shelves at all Tommy Bahama locations. I say this because Coconut Driftwood smells great! I assume that the product is no longer being manufactured. (Dear Tommy Bahama crew, if you respond to this review, please let us know if this item is being discontinued or if it might come back in the future.)
I found some of the other scents of the Leaf Cut Collection to be lackluster/unremarkable or not quite befitting of the theme/vibe I'm going for in my tacky tropical home. Scents, I believe, are for the most part ineffable and are best experienced firsthand--but I'll try to describe this product for those who aren't close to a physical Tommy Bahama store. The simple answer is that the candle smells like coconut plus a hint of some sort of polished tropical wood. More vibrant, perhaps, but less precise of a description is that the candle smells like your cool uncle's beach house.
My only gripe with this candle is that the wick seems a little subpar vis-à-vis the typical Tommy Bahama quality control standards. That is to say, even in a room with little or no outside airflow, the flame seems to have a mind of its own. This in and of itself might not be an issue, but the glass can get an ugly black stain from soot and contact with the flame--for one of my candles this happened well before it had finished burning. However, I may just be incompetent when it comes to handling candles.
Last but not least, the coconut aspect of this candle refreshingly smells like a real coconut, not "artificial" or "fake." This is a rare achievement in the scented world and certainly worth noting. If you have an opportunity to try one out in-store, please do, but either way I highly recommend purchasing this product if you need some scented candles. Of course, let me make just one last order before submitting your own...
