Definitely different! The stone I received is neither as orange as the photo, or as oblong - mine is more brown, and it is almost a circle - but I still love it. I have received quite a few complements on it. The chain is long. As another reviewer mentioned, there is no obvious way to shorten it since it directly connects to the pendant's loop; I hooked the lock to a ring about 3" from the end of the chain: you'll end up with a bit of dangling chain, but it doesn't bother me. This is not orange or persimmon I bought this necklace expecting the stone to be somewhat orange. It is completely brown. I even exchanged the brown one and received another brown one in the mail. My husband said it looked like a pork chop hanging from my neck. Total disappointment and waste of money. December 30, 2012
too long and heavy I could have loved this if i could double up the chain and allow it to be on my chest but because the agate is permananently fixed when you double the clasp is in the front. I plan on returning it shortly. November 2, 2012
