The gathers to the side help hide any tummy bulge and there is enough room in the dress so it doesn't pull at the top of my thighs. Loved that the neckline was not too low. I love the black dress and ordered it in the coral color also. Since the fabric is so thin, any flaw, mainly the love handles, show on any color other than black so am going to have to return the coral. June 2, 2013
