1 strawberry
2 parts tawny port
½ part lemon juice
½ part simple syrup

Simple Syrup:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar

Combine ingredients in a saucepan over low heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Set aside and cool.

Muddle strawberry with lemon juice. Add remaining ingredients and ice. Shake well and strain into a double rocks glass. Garnish with a strawberry.
