So far, so good! Since this is April in Wisconsin, I have yet to use this however, I ordered the larger pinapple deluxe beach chairs to use with this umbrella, and I am in love with the chairs, and the fact that they are so portable, so there is no doubt, once the snow leaves this umbrella will meet my expectations. I accidently confused Tommy Bahama with a competitor, and I am not going back! April 8, 2013
Quality product. The umbrella is both attractive and user friendly. The handles on the lower section are a brilliant feature that enable a very easy setup. For two people it's size is adequate. I would prefer a little larger umbrella though. My recommendation would be for Tommy Bahama to sell two different sizes. This one and a larger one the would accomodate four people. March 17, 2013
Sand Use Only I own two of the previous model umbrellas, and was thinking about replacing one due to four years of weekly use, starting to fade, stitching loose, poles dented etc. Our family uses these alot. I MUCH prefer the older style pole with "spearhead" shape vs. the "corkscrew" design presently used. First, I live near a beach area that has some grassy areas adjacent to the sand and trying to twist the pole into solid ground just won't work. It is limited to soft sand use only where it works well. But so did the previous design. The vendors must have changed too, because I tried to use the new umbrella with my older style pole, but the shaft diameter would not allow them to fit. BOO!!! I returned the umbrella and am now forced to continue using my old ones until they break, which I hope is no time soon. Any idea how I could buy replacement pieces separately? March 10, 2013

Great coverage our second TB beach umbrella. looks cool and acts cooler. just when you thought going to the beach means less coverage (for some a good thing) , the TB umbrella fills in admirably for those who need more. February 1, 2013
