Re all TB bag offerings, this is the one you want! Despite the inherent shortcoming with complication cited in one customer review (i.e., poorly designed shoulder strap), this bag compared to all other and more expensive TB bags is preferred: price, more accommodating for a larger laptop computer, significantly more compartments & pouches for cables, papers, magazines, etc. I checked comparable TB bags in the retail and outlet shops in person and made this discovery and my decision, not based solely on internet pictures. This bag was the one and the wisest choice. The bag was/is in very limited supply through the TB website, is not offered in TB retail stores, and has been relegated to the TB outlet shops. I purchased my bag in the outlet shop at less than half the internet price! BTY ... the cited shortcoming/complication is remedial. April 14, 2014
A nice bag. This is the only product I've ever had any trouble with purchasing on-line. It arrived with the strap missing. Customer service handled the situation and made the purchase right. Otherwise, this is a nice bag that holds quite a bit of stuff. I have received many compliments on this bag. December 27, 2013
Good looks, Poorly designed straps I purchased this bag in-store two months ago. It's a great looking bag, with plenty of space inside for a laptop, iPad, and any needed travel gear. The MAJOR downside is the strap design. Unlike virtually any other messenger bag you'll find, the shoulder strap (and top handle) for this bag are attached to the FLAP, not the main bag body. As a result, anytime you carry the bag you put strain on the lid/buckle and it quickly stretches the leather. It also causes the lid to "pull" (revealing the interior liner) when carried. Further, the leather buckle is not actually riveted to the lid as you might think (based on the brass rivet you see on the lid). Instead, it's only sewn to the interior (the rivet is decoration), making it even less capable of carrying the weight of the bag. It's a shame. Beautiful bag. If TB would just slightly alter the straps, it would be an easy 5-pineapple. As-is, it's clear this bag will wear-out VERY quickly with regular use. June 9, 2013
This product is a little larger than anticipated based on the photo; still small enough to easily be taken on board and stowed under seat. Looks good. Slightly larger than anticipated where purchase was primarily as a carry on for lap top computer. Extra space is useable for binders, files etc. and the bag still fits easily under the seat on airlines (in spite of the less than desirable replacement of United planes with smaller Continental equipment - but I digress) November 16, 2012
